ITS Annual Meeting – October 14th 2026
The annual meeting of the Intelligent Transportation Society of New Mexico will be an in-person event and will be on Wednesday, October 14th at the Marriott Albuquerque in Uptown. As with our past meetings, it holds great promise to its members and the transportation community at large. Our theme this year will be ‘Affording a Safer, Smarter, and More Resilient Future’ and we have a great agenda lined up that will cover a variety of topics related to the integration of current and new advanced technologies in transportation including:
- Crash Prediction Through Data Aggregation and AI
- Work Zone Safety – Early Detection of Intrusion
- Roadway Intelligence – Using On-Board Sensors to Determine Infrastructure Health
- Dynamic Red-Light Extension for Prevention of Red Light Running
- Autonomous Vehicle Development and States of Practice
- Transit Signal Priority Using Cellular Communications
- Monitoring, Visualizing and Optimizing Mobility Using Probe Data
- Mobility Enhancement Tools Using Connected Vehicle Data
